Features:
I have created this site as a sub-site of purduetrumpets.com in order to better facilitate interaction among section members. It contains the following new or improved features:

   - Better Forum
      - Allows more categorization, permanent users, and no ads.
   - Polls
      - Voting will allow everyone to participate more and give feedback for the best interests of the section.
   - User Profiles
      - Users can edit and update their own information.
   - Shared Management
      - This site has the capability to have multiple authors, admins, and moderators who can help create and monitor content.

This site is built on the Drupal web platform with the latest edition Version 6.2. Although many of the security and administration issues have been improved with this new version, the module development of the international Drupal design community has not caught up with this latest release. Therefore, some of the cool features of previous versions of Drupal such as an interactive event calendar and a quality photo gallery have not yet been built. I hope to add those among others in the future as they become available. In the meantime, I have set up another sub-site that will handle our Photo Gallery needs. I may take similar action in regards to setting up an interactive web calendar in the near future.

Over the course of this summer I will be expanding the functionality and improving the appearance of our new Drupal site, our Photo Gallery, and any other sub-sites that I deem necessary. Please be patient as this process will take much time and effort. If you notice any problems occurring, please let me know so I can see about fixing them as soon as possible.
