THE TRUMPET CHEER

The Trumpet Cheer:

The trumpet cheer is what we use to fire ourselves up before the march to Slayter Hill for the pregame concert. Each rank also shouts the cheer before run on at all football games. The fans near us find this pretty amusing! The cheer is basically a call and response, the leader first says quietly “All right, all right, all right” then the section responds with “All right”, the leader than says “Ok, Ok, Ok”, the section responds “Ok.” This is then repeated but with the leader only saying "All right" and "Ok" once. The whole section than says “Go Trumpets Go” followed by “One more time.” The cheer is then repeated once at a medium volume and then again as loud as possible.
